This is tragic for everyone concerned, five unnecessary deaths, countless amounts to deal with the recovery before anyone asks the question WHY?  There are many factors why an accident occurs but for sure speed is a contributor and unless the speed is controlled by roadside cameras across the know hot spots for speed and subsequent accidents, nothing will improve.$ 10 million for the latest technology to improve road safety is a small price to pay to educate the heavy right foot brigade.
