Drop that estimate by 30%. 

A story in The Phuket News this morning said that a complete alcohol ban will be enforced at ALL Songkran venues.

I still can't figure out why the Thai government keeps shooting itself in both feet with these alcohol bans and their outdated law regarding hours it can be sold during the day.

Most alcohol would be bought and consumed outside any sort of official Songkran event

 

So that ban would have very little impact on the revenue, IMO
