OMG I hope a solution can be reached. If I buy a completed project I don't expect the building to be cancelled or ruled illegal. So much for the warning never buy "off plan"

"On October 24, 2023 the Ministry of Transport appointed a working group to expedite the determination of solutions..."

Does expedite have a different meaning here?
