If you can't trust a temple Abbot to show kindness to a living creature what does that say about his suitability to guide others through his religious teachings. He should be named and stripped of his position.

And what was the fate of the Abbot? Was he sent to a new  wat so that he  could repeat his past cruel deviancy?  Or was he disrobed and sent to make merit to society?  The Thai religious hierarchy should learn from the failings of the Catholic church that had clergy shielded from accountability for far too long.

So has the Abbot been arrested and charged with animal cruelty? Has he been removed from his position? Why only half a story?
