No matter how strict juvenile law is, nothing can be changed unless the rootcause for the problem is addressed. No point in plastering and band-aiding the bleeding wound, unless something is done to stop the bleeding completely. It is the social system failure. That has to be addressed in the first place.

Talk of the town!

Heinous  act by 5  children .

If adults i would like to see the death penalty.

But since they are 12 -14 years, Life with no chance of parole!

It sends a message.

So the father of one of the accused is a cop. And he “persuaded” the husband of the victim to confess to the murder to save his own murdering child. Wow… that is just so wrong on so many levels.

Time to bring back the good old Corporal and Capital Punishment, for Juveniles and Adults for crimes like these. Children don't commit these sorts of crimes without knowingly being in full control of their actions. Thus they need to held accountable for their actions and be handed sentences appropiate to the crimes. Bring back the A Frame and ratan for juveniles, 100 lashes over several weeks followed by a minimum 20 years in jail will surely do better than the slap on the wrist they get these days. an eye for an eye for adults.

The fathers who are Police Officers of these juvenile deliquents have apparently covered their crimes before, so they to need to be arrested and charged and jailed for interferring in investigations and allowing their sons to be let off without punishment. Gang Raping a girl and getting away with it is disgraceful, and the fathers are complicit in these crimes for covering up evidence and not having their children take responsibility for their actions. Maybe the father of the girl can get some street justice. But the Police bosses need to be seen to stopping this sort of corrupt behaviour by some of it's officers and indeed investigating them and seeing justice done, for the sake of the integrity of the Police themselves.
