Unemployment at around 1% is not healthy. It sounds good, but all it really means is inflationary pressure on wages and increased reasons to swap employers for more money. The Philips curve describes the relationship between unemployment and inflation. The relationship is flexible and there are many other factors, but economists have called out the 1% rate in Thailand as a severe restriction on growth for years.

If they are anything like a lot of graduates in the UK it will be because they expect to walk into jobs at supervisory level because they have a degree despite having NO experience of a workplace or of supervising others and consider any other entry level jobs beneath them.

And wonder why employers are not very impressed by their "soft" degrees in totally irrelevant subjects. Like my niece, who ended up retraining as a teacher after her degree in Theatrical Costume Design failed to impress any prospective employers.

I have always wondered how they know the unemployment rate in Thailand. Has there ever been a country in history that only had a 1.05 unemployment rate?
