Sorry but he's a cop 24/7 so he's doing his job. Can't really big him up for doing what he is meant to do.  Crime and the prevention of it should be his basic function.

Isn't that a policeman's job! what was brave, that he possibly confronted an intoxicated sex offender while calling for back up? Maybe he was honourable and its as often the case bad reporting?

Whilst it is laudable that he did stop, unless there is more to this story than is being reported I do not see how he was 'brave' as it seems all he did was call for and wait for backup. Not understanding why the 'teenagers' had not already done this.

Bigger concern is that this is actually newsworthy.

What passes for news among some circles is quite baffling.

Nothing short of distraction and misdirection.
