Doesn't say it was electric. An electrical fault maybe, But yes, when lithium batteries do catch fire, it can be pretty spectacular.

This sentence says it is not electric and has the most possible reason in it, too:

"repair service"

Oh dear - I'm being SARCASTIC - when people criticise electric cars every time there is a fire, people forget that fossil fuel cars also catch fire - I thought it was obvious it was a fossil fuel car..... I'm sorry I seem to have over-estimated the readership

Thailand brings a whole new meaning to "shade tree mechanic". I had a reliable one rebuild a 2.5 diesel I had but I talked to many people about him before I let him do the rebuild.
