News Forum - British man arrested at Phuket Airport for possession of cocaine
Yeah, that part stood out to me too. I’ve since inspected my passport again for hidden pockets and flaps. No and no. He never thought to tape the drugs to his forehead? - same result. -

Thaiger Talk Quiz #253 - Cycling in Thailand
4/5 I see the bike path at BKK every time I drive in from Hua Hin. It think it is rather boring because it is just straight tracks with no tree canopy. Probably the safest place to cycle though, and the air is relatively clear of car fumes. The happiest time of my life was mountain biking when I was in Phuket 15+ years ago, it was still relatively safe to bike on a road and traffic was light in the kata-karon area with some quiet hills and even some secluded beaches to visit. I was also in much better shape. Wouldn't dare cycle in Thailand today. -

News Forum - British man lost in Thailand, family issues SOS appeal
You honestly do not think that the Thai police did not do this basic investigation. And perhaps it is because of the investigation that not more is reported in the news, apparently the Scotish police and British authorities are also involved. And perhaps the investigation also does not allow to tell more to the media about those "odd" messages before going silent. But yes, an "ominous" story indeed. Let's hope the end won't be. -
