That balanced decision can be seen in the way Hamas operates. It has been cited that Israel scrubbed (at least) one attack because of the proximity of the Hamas site to civilian infrastructure. Project that forward to Hamas' use of civilian screens and ask whose munition hit the hospital in Gaza.

Israeli settler Yasmin Porat has claimed that Israeli civilians were killed by Israeli forces and not by Hamas.

As heard in this interview by Porat with an Israeli radio station on 15 October, where she said: “They eliminated everyone, including the hostages. There was very, very heavy crossfire and even tank shelling.”

She stated that she and other civilians were held by the Palestinians for several hours and were treated “humanely”.

Here is the recording:

Doesn't quite tally with some of the other reports (as seen on BBC News broadcasts) of what was found in the some of the kibbutz's after the attacks. Who are most people going to find more credible - a well respected international news organisation, or some random person on X (formerly know as Twitter)?
