it's only that I can't stand being locked down in Hua Hin. 

I noticed today the Hua Hin to Ekkamai bus is still running. I could make it there and walk the rest of the way. 

or i have a really good taxi service and i could make a appointment at Bumrungrad hospital, print the confirmation and then cancel and show that as a reason to travel. stay over night in BKK and then another taxi to Pattaya. not sure what reason, maybe some sort of examination that can only be performed in Pattaya.
