Extension reminder from Immigration

Hi there

I have been on a retirement visa/extension for last 8 years its due for renewal on 5 August

Surprisingly i kindly had a text from immigration today reminding me

is this new thing or am I just special (my mother said i was)

Never heard of an office texting to give advance warning your extension is soon due for renewal.

Was is from a female member of staff - maybe you have a secret admirer.

I've never received a notice, but my wife - who is in the immigration office 2 or 3 times a week, for her job - was asked by an immi officer if my money was in the bank a few months before renewing my Non-ImmO spouse visa.

I thought it was nice that they noticed and reminded her, though the money just sits there.

i got the same text for the first time here in Hua Hin at the beginning of this month.

Aha must  be a hua hin system thing i am in prachuap and obviously under hh jurisdictions

Thats a blow i preffered the other hansum man option
