A bit more than just dereliction of duty surely. How about big joke asks a lawyer which laws have been broken and charge the corrupt RTP scum bag with all of the offenses that were committed, based on legal advise. But I guess that if the RTP fail to investigate the case that there won't be any evidence to present to the court.

if the mentioned officer could be charged with dereliction of duty under Article 157.

So does this mean he is promoted to a better area with a bigger pay packet?

Have personally witnessed a low life cop return to our area who left under dubious circumstances and returned two ranks higher a few years later.

Didn't bother going to the Wat for his final departure. Very quiet occasion apparently.😔

"He stated that the officer in question already had two previous records of seeking undue advantages"

So nothing done on two previous occasions and 'Big Joke' seems to be living up to his name in suggesting possible dereliction of duty rather than the rather serious crimes of extortion or blackmail. Once again the Thai police demonstrate what a laughing stock and hotbed of corruption and greed they are.
