This is an important dispute as it highlights the  immoral power and economic favourtism granted unelected senators who's actions often suggests their first loyalty is to their political masters, with little concern for the nation.

It’s everyone of the Thai’s rights to band together against them and whoever they are associated with and support. What did they think, people would stand in line handing them roses? Looks to just be getting started.

I hope it becomes apparent to the Thai people these Senators should not even be in office. When they openly say "you cannot criticize me"...Really?... speaks volumes about the people they are.  Their comments should also draw the attention of certain high level police agencies in regards to how they conduct themselves as law abiding citizens.  I think all law abiding citizens of certain statures should be scrutinized once in while.

So the senators, who didn't get what they wanted (AKA their party of preference), are going to try legal means - through courts appointed with their help - to gag protest. So much for democracy in action!

I really hope that today or tomorrow MFP and PTP manage to get the numbers to appoint a legal Prime Minister. Once firmly in place, they start very quietly, working on a new Constitution that curtails the power of the Senate and removes the rusted-on sycophants who do nothing but move their mouths when ordered by their appointees.

Let them go back to earning a living by semi-legal means.

Shouldn't the EC be sending the CC a complaint about the Deputy leader of the Bhumjaithai party that was advising Thai people to shoot each other?

Look at the party name and you have your answer all tied up neatly with a little bow on top.

The senators are paid by the state to do a job, if they dont want to represent the people justly then they should not be able to hold that position. We all know why they are there and its very obvious the people are not their concern of representation.

It’s a mockery of justice putting down the people and what they want. These unelected   regime handpicked t u r d s are a dirty stinky stain on Thailand and its society. They are probably lucky that that is all that is happening to them and their family, cohorts and friends at this time. Now that they successfully ousted and took out Pita and essentially the Thai folk who love and support him and MFP, they probably should be watching over their back a little more carefully one would think. What a disgrace .

Khun Pita is not out of the race yet. He is still in the running for PM and this is just a hurdle flung in his path. I believe that there is going to be a mass crumbling of the Senate and the numbers will magically appear when the option is put to them - vote or retire.

He has been eliminated. Next time next election is his only chance. And I am sad to say this.
