There are many such unmanned crossings that lact barriers. In this case who is responsible for the failure? The train has its right of way, similarly also the car.

Had a short think about the WHYS of numerous accidents at rail crossings not only here in Thailand but worldwide.

Think it is due to the very poor maintenance of the road surface that forces vehicles to travel much slower than normal. Thus, requiring more control of motion at particular times during the crossover.

Manual cars are probably the worst in this scenario, clutching, declutching and braking etc.

If a quality concreted level surface with the top of the rail line were to be implemented, then the crossover would be nothing more than a minor vibration in steering at a sensible legal speed, requiring no clutch work or minor brake adjustment to speed and thus reduce stalling of vehicles at crossings.

(Mind no one can be responsible for the insane actions by mentally deficient at some crossings.)

So, all you crap people responsible for this area, get it together and stop killing people.

Common sense people who are in tune with 360% of their surounding and potential risks, and then non thinkers, who may be smart but only realize after ( this person in article), or ones that freeze and surcome as they cannot move same as a cat getting trapped in a shining headlight that blinds them becoming frozen. Which one are you?
