A while back my SIL who has a four year old daughter had to go to Chachoengsao.

She took her father along as well as her  daughter

The daughter stood on the passenger seat and the father sat at the rear

When i commented about no seatbelt and a 4 year old child standing on the front seat  on a very busy road for nearly 90 km i was told she would not have an accident as she is a good driver and the kid loved to stand in front

My comments were silent and only I "heard "them

None wore seatbelts

I was recently told not to force her father to wear a seatbelt when he travels with us

I then informed them all then he does not ever travel  with me again end of argument

He wore his belt
