Yet another monk who believes he is superior and untouchable just because he follows a religious path. The actions of the few are beginning to outweigh the good of the many.

I'm afraid that I don't see much good in the many. Covid showed them for what they are, selfish and self absorbed and parasites on society.  However, none of the World's religions came out of Covid well, even the Christian Churches locked their doors to everyone.

Drunk as a skunk monk. There are many good ones, but seems the bad ones are continually coming out of the woodwork. Makes you wonder that if a monk doesn't have enough common sense to not be in public while intoxicated thinking nobody will notice, then he defintely lacks or has achieved any insight of spitualness helping to guide others. I really think monks either should be allowed to drink on off time behind the scenes or plainly just have to abstain like it is intended for and that is not having modern luxuries like mobile phones. It is like having one foot in and one foot out. ridiculous.

I remember a monk of about 30 yrs old getting onto the sky train he went over to one of those ‘special’ seats’ reserved for the elderly, pregnant women etc where an elderly Thai was sitting he was easily in his 70’s he stood over him until the old guy got up and gave the monk his seat. I was so disgusted and angry but obviously being a foreigner I kept quiet it wouldn’t have gone well for me if I had said anything, the young monk sat and looked very pleased with himself.

When Courts regularly offer the Monkhood to criminals as an alternative to Jail then it undermines everything that the religion is supposed to stand up for.  Where is the vocation and the dedication there.  That is a rhetorical question, there is none .
