Refreshing change that an MP took responsibility for her  behavior and did not renege on a promise to step down. Of course the SEC was surprised and had never seen this done before. That is because the MFP has ethics and isn't as corrupt as the other political groups.

The Nonthaburi Criminal Court later sentenced her to two months in prison, suspended her for two years, fined her 4,000 baht, and ordered her to complete 12 hours of community service.

Wonder who suggested this outcome?

Bhudda forbid it be political. 🥸

If that is the case, then they should build a new jail our way to house the Police who smash up police vehicles whilst drunk (roll overs) and a few of their influential friends who stopped to help but had trouble standing so were advised to drive home. 🙄

Guess we have to wait for an influential fatality, and a family that will not let it pass with a solly and a few baht, to put a stop to this common practice.
