"Among the evidence sought from the HPD is a voice recording by anti-crime activist Atchariya Ruangratanapong that allegedly connects the incident to a high-ranking department officer known as “Yoot”.

Strange how the person removed from their position while under investigation cannot be named but someone OUTSIDE the system is able to get it. Why wasn't he named?

Also, "Both the Finance Ministry and Excise Department will determine the appropriate punishment of those involved in the illegal oil scandal, Kriengkrai added"... surely not waiting to assess what their portion of brown envelopes should have been apportioned to ascertain what the (additional) fine will be for his digression...

The majority of black money in the country comes from this activity. Something this central to feeding peoples pockets doesn't break down over night. This feels like a move by someone saying 'I was able to manage the key people involved in this operation. Without me, welcome to chaos'.

If Pita loses the ability to create cross departmental harmony through pocket lining then hes going to have every big wig losing money willing to work against him.
