The number of crimes in Thailand keeps going up. Because of this, police division 8 enhanced gun training.

Must have missed something in the article.

The cops do everything wrong, so they go to gun training to fix it.

No investigation as to why an emergency line was engaged, during the early hours of the morning????????????????????? (Oh solly beauty sleep)

I suspect they were all asleep which was why it took so long to respond and they could not detain the suspect because they were anxious to resume their slumbers. I suspect if there had been any money in it for them they could have detained the man. The Thai Police once again covering themselves in ignominy proving to the world how pathetic and ineffective they are and how little they care about the welfare of a vulnerable woman. It is little wonder that more and more lone western women tourists question the safety of Thailand as a holiday destination.

Regarding the first responders, This is a perfect example of just how useless the police can be in certain areas of Thailand.  But if you’re Falange and not wearing a helmet on a motorcycle, heaven forbid an immediate 2000 baht fine…..but if you only have 530 baht, then that will do. Can’t have Falange endangering the safety and well being of locals by not abiding by traffic laws…..which in turn does not apply to locals in a country which leads the world in alcohol and speed related traffic fatalities.
