I don't think it's a case of being lazy

The whole resident doctor program is basically slave labor and it's not good health practice for it's patients to have exhausted doctors

The system needed/needs a change

Not saying that they should not work long hours but the hour loads they are expected to work for very little pay is ridiculous

Doctors... lawyers... salespersons... lots of others work long hours for little pay when they first start out while they are developing their skills and specialties... it's not ridiculous... it's character building.

Let me ask you a question

What does a doctor do that lawyers or salesperson do not?

It's a pretty important distinction over the other two

It's a stupid question... has nothing to do with the dedication each person is willing to make to their career and future
