Very sad, where I live (Nakhon Si Thammarat), the area where the pink dolphins live, in 7 years 3 dead dolphins ended up on our beach.  Main reason: local fishermen. Had multiple discussions with them. Even when dolphin families are circling around in front of our property, these fisherman put their illegal nets out, on several occasions I  begged them to wait till the dolphins disappear, they couldn’t care less! Ps Not all fishermen are that ignorant or selfish, but a lot of them are!
