"The Pattalung Provincial Police Commander has since established an investigative committee to examine the conduct of the initial investigator. He criticized the laziness that caused unnecessary suffering to the affected families." What a joke! This level of laziness is endemic in the RTP don't try to tell me a Provincial Police Comander was surprised. He and the police force are ONLY taking any action because the girls parents kicked up enough of a stink for the media to become interested! -

It is time that the locals have to accept and agree that Phuket is a foreign land within Thailand. Very soon there will be a guarded checkpost at the Sarasin bridge to check for any locals who enter Phuket Isand. May be they have to use their international Passort to enter inside. The local laws doesn't apply there. Phuket has its own law to protect the paying immigrants who are permanent residents there.- 1
