Johor Bahru has some very good 4 star hotels, reasonably priced, less than half the same standard in Singapore, so I agree. Travel time could be inconvenient, just depends what motivations in visiting are. -

They seem like nice kids to me too. If they did a song about 25 seconds long I might hear it through. Yes, I know it's a different era. My daughter likes GOT7. I've listened to most of their more popular songs and I do like one; 'Miracle'. Don't like any Blackpink stuff. Their clicking song reminds me of the Clapping Song by Shirley Ellis back in the day. Just a catchy lot of nonsense. -

Its expensive to sleep in Singapore, just sleep over the border, and use the land crossing. Though she is obviously expensive, relative to Thailand, she isn't too expensive by British standards. At least not in my experience, as a brief visitor there.- 1

You were lucky. I too got it again, but the second time was, as predicted by my Doctor, quite mild, as the anti bodies from the first bout dealt with it. The first bout stopped my skiing, jogging and mountain walking forever.
