Many of the sex workers arrived in Finland with partners but turned to sex work when their relationships broke down and their financial situation deteriorated, especially since their lack of language skills prevented them from accessing other kinds of work.

Many of them are just back to the business, they did meet their ex-boyfriends.

And the way back home is also not easy, since the expectations of the families, parents, brothers, buffalos, are also high. Higher as to fulfill with a job in Pattaya.

Also it is better paid, in Europe. Even "just" a Thai massage without extras, is more money as the happy ending service, even in tourist higher price areas.

I'd imagine almost 100% of them would have been doing it in Thailand prior

 

I don't think some non-BG would suddenly turn tricks in Finland

 

So easy(at least here in Canada) to get a job at Thai restaurant and make good money

My wife makes 3500-4k cad/mo(90-100k baht) and she could make a lot more if she went back working in full service restaurant where she made a lot more in tips
