Ramanathan.P Posted April 30, 2023 #301574 Share Posted April 30, 2023 Looks like many are coming to Thailand to have a heavenly enjoyable relaxing life, however not all are enjoying it the way they thought it would be for the rest of their life, only to end it tragically
HolyCowCm Posted April 30, 2023 #301582 Share Posted April 30, 2023 88 years old is a good ole ripe age. If he left his hat and sandles on the 4th floor, more than likely he jumped, but for what reasons who knows. It is sort of grotesque to jump from a high spot in a public place and then subject people to look at your split open bleeding crushed carcass. Vigo Posted April 30, 2023 #301586 Share Posted April 30, 2023 Well he seemed neat and tidy to the end leaving his sandals and hat behind, not that anyone wanted them. I do genuinely feel for the chap. To be alone or to feel alone such that the only option is to die in this way is sad. At age 88 he had probably buried all his friends, and perhaps much of his family, some time ago. There is really no one left that you know very well at that age.

All true but it is also may be an example of an expat not keeping his connections at home and then the end he ends up alone I can't tell you how many expats I've run into who bash their home, brag about not going home for years Disregard family events and then end up alone in the end No one knows what is going on with other people's lives But keeping your connections at home is important
