What is important is proper advise and guidance on how to protect from such haze. Everyone is only using surgical masks. Surgical masks only trap moist particles, They will not trap any dry particles. As such the authorities have to advise people to use N95 masks to protection from haze. Using surgical mask will not give any protection at all against haze.  It only give psychological satisfaction but still all the dust particles will enter the respiratory system. It is good to have a wet good morning towel wrapped across the nose and mouth. That will give far more better protection against haze than the useless surgical masks when haze is concerned.
