In My view, it is better to return 27,000 baht to the Taiwanese Actress and apologize so that the Country Police image is Recovered.

I don't see how the RTP lives with the daily pressure... all around them is corruption and the threat of  occasionally being caught and prosecuted is so random... how do they go about their daily duties without constantly looking over their shoulders... OH RIGHT... if they are caught it just means a transfer and a slap on the wrist.

Nothing can be done when corruption becomes the way of life.......

Quote

they found an e-cigarette in An’s possession

I love the charge. On that particular section of that road they can make more than their monthly quota in one hour by just stopping speeding bikes or riders wearing no helmets. But that requires some actual work.

Seems wrong to me. If they are guilty don't transfer to another district so they can continue the same practice elsewhere.

"Thai cops indicted over extortion case"

Does that mean now that they will go after the thousands of cops that benefit from protection (sorry tea money) money collections from bars in all the major tourist areas of Thailand? In a lot of cases they are not even subtle about it walking in when the bar is open in full uniform and picking up their 'protection money'. No of course not because that money is distributed right the way to the top of the chain and there is no high profile media personality bring it into the spotlight.

I think you missed the fact @kalyan was being sarcastic.😀

The police were reprimanded for being caught, they were told not to do it again, getting caught I mean. 😄
