I feel for this guy but he was never officially married to her and she won the lottery, not him, and she's married to another.  If he did "break up" with her years ago, then his claim that he's owed is even more spurious.

The idea that he is "owed" anything for paying "child support" all those years doesn't wash.

As for his 27K-30K that she claims was only 3K-4K...easy enough to prove, but it doesn't matter.

I disagree with his lawyer.  He doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Having kids together and sending child support payments doesn't constitute marriage or domestic partnership. If they weren't living together or even seeing each other for years then they're not domestic partners.

Funny thing is- the guy isn't even upset that his "wife" married another man - he's upset that he's been sending her money the whole time while she's "rich" (in his mind).

To be fair he has a point - no doubt she hid the fact she got married and won the lottery from him because she didn't want the support payments to stop. But life and the law aren't about what's fair.

That's assuming those are payments mandated by the court. In this case it sounds like he was sending money voluntarily. Essentially gifting them the money.
