Q1 surprised me , but then I remember coming across a 5 satang coin some years ago.

But it still leaves out the 20 baht coins, methinks.

I still have some of those, never tried go use 'em, but got them somehow.

Btw., Only 3, I think

20 baht coins, must be before my time.

I think the ones that will catch folk out are :

SPOILER ALERT

1, 5, and 10 satang coins, I did have a 5 satang coin about 8 years ago, gave it to a Thai friend, he said he had never seen one !

Na, they "popping up" every now and then. The last one is from 2020, I think.

But that are commemorative coins and such. Never seen a 50 or 100 Baht coin, but they exist.

And the 1,2,5 Satang are pretty new, `bout 5 years old. Never seen one, who needs them?

I suppose i could query the answer to Q1 ( in a feeble attempt to gain another point ) as it asks for

and not current Thai coins in circulation !!

Seems like a lot of work but to quote Brucie : “ what do points make “ ?

” Prizes “ ……….. is supposed to be the answer , but I can imagine @BigHewer replying “ absolutely bugger all “ !!

Yeah, Q1 was a sneaky one, as the 3 coins you mention are only minted for accountancy purposes and not for general circulation.

I believe some were minted for commemorative purposes, (2022 Apec Summit) which you could purchase, but I've never seen one. https://www.nationthailand.com/thailand/general/40021355

Like @Chaimai, I toss any coins in a box for the wife to use as change in her business.

I knew Q1 would be a doozy. I wrestled with a couple of options (with different answers):

A) How many Thai baht coins are there valued 25 satang and above?

B) How many Thai baht coins are there, not including those only in bank circulation?

In the end, settled for the current simple wording. I think I’ll change one of the incorrect answers to make the A) and B) interpretation impossible and keep the answer the same.

Thank you for the support on the quizzes gents. Still plenty to come 👍🏻
