Oh the creative accounting by Phuket officials ….. 9 infective on Saturday …

The two Myanmar children were counted separately and were not added to the total number of infections recorded in Phuket since Apr 3, which as of yesterday stood at 785.

They say it's a preventive measure. So why do they still flying to Samui? It doesn't make any sense. Fully vaccinated tourists must be tested upon arrival, but unvaccinated locals can go anywhere with a 7-day old test???? As an ex-pat, I don't usually get surprised by their incompetence, and stupidity but this one is above the Thai standards.

Samui is their home base and currently almost impossible to access other than by car and ferry.  Long swim too.
