Fact: Musk initiated the  termination of 1/2 the employee roster, 7500 people.

Fact: Twitter initially aknowledged that 15% of its safety group was terminated. Now it is reported in mulple reliable  industry outlets that The areas of Twitter impacted the most by Musk’s cuts include its product trust and safety, policy, communications, tweet curation, ethical AI, data science, research, machine learning, social good, accessibility, and even certain core engineering teams, according to tweets by laid-off employees and people familiar with the matter.

The employees laid off were not specifically child porn checkers as your crudely term it. rather, the people laid off were those who screened Twitter of kiddie porn and other inappropriate content. You are trying to deny a known action and result.

I’m getting tired of all these news items about Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook etc. The issues with online abuse etc could be severely curtailed if it wasn’t so easy to be anonymous. If people had to open an account with a traceable form of ID, then much of these issues would either go away or the law would be more easily applied.
