The driver was identified as 62 year old Australian woman Michelle Ann Eddy. After being notified about the incident, Eddy said she was shocked. She did not know that she had run over someone.

A likely story!  🙄

More like Eddy thought no-one had seen the accident.

Didn't she feel the sudden bump or something rolling under her car. Any driver with proper conscious would have suspect that something is not right if the car suddenly bumps on a smooth pathway. Looks like she is having Alzheimer disease. Better subject her to proper medical test and ban her from driving for life if the tests show positive.

Was on the Thai news yesterday. They played the video over and over of the guy getting run over. How she could of not saw the man and not felt the guy under her car is head scratching. In a case like this it is a huge mistake on her part and she will have to live with it for the remiander of her life. I don't think prison time is warranted, but compensation to the deceased person's family if he has any is the best way.

On another part, the value of her car majorly just plumetted to worthless. Aint no Thai gonna touch that vehicle.

No warning signs or cones can be seen, ( common enough here) just a guy in the middle of the road, with no high viz,  hunched over and possibly out of view as she approached him.  An accident waiting to happen, although that doesn't absolve the lady from major  culpability.
