Thai police seize 30 kilograms of heroin bound for Hong Kong hidden in puppy pads

Thai authorities seized a sizeable 30 kilograms of heroin yesterday in Samut Prakan province, just north of Bangkok, believed to be headed to Hong Kong.

Police arrested a Hong Konger and a Thai national during the raid.

The drug war is a lost cause. All this does is drive the price up and make it more lucrative for the next guy.

Governments should produce safe consistent drugs themselves. And sell them on the darknet themselves. This would slowly push the cartels out of business. And they govts can get the revenue. Overdoses would be reduced by a lot because the product could be quality controlled.

And we don't have to have these discussions about whether to legalize or not.
