Thank god Americans have the Second Amendment to protect themselves.

PS I see an "angry" reaction. Apologies: perhaps I should have added that I was being sarcastic. I don't have the words to properly express my disgust that the family died so horribly.

Millions  and millions of guns owned by millions of law abiding citizens!Mental illness  is a curse to society, especially when it’s discussed and passed on in the same breath!

What was the motive and circumstances around this sick individual?

Their Country. Their Ways. They Decided long ago to accept mass shootings every week consequential to right to bear arms. On balance preferable to being Disarmed and at mercy of every armed crackhead  desperate for cash.

Crackheads typically steal/shoplift/break into parked cars/sell their a**, etc.   I'd be surprised to find one with a firearm they hadn't already sold for $5.00, but if so, I'd wager they don't have the brain power, attention span and coordination to carry out a detailed, multiple homicide like this.  If we're patient, the investigation will fill in the gaps.
