In August, Thailand was ranked as the second most dangerous country to drive in according to a driver’s educational platform. Only South Africa is deemed to be a more dangerous place to drive than the Kingdom of Thailand with the US coming in third place.

I have never seen one internationally recognized statistic that shows that. Thailand is usually in the top 4 or 5, but not two , not after SA and the US is never third. I have seen that website, but its conclusions are contradicted by many others.

I agree. They need to be clear what they mean by the ranking. Is it actual number of accidents? Accidents per 100,000 population? Accidents per 100,000 vehicles? Etc. what ever the definition of the statistic Thailand will always be in the top 5 until they actually teach people how to drive. If you just let people loose to work on electricity installations without any training, then they would also be in the top 5 for number of deaths through electrocution. Mind you, they probably are!
