American rapper Travis Scott will headline Rolling Loud Festival set to take place in Pattaya in eastern Thailand during Songkran next year. Rolling Loud’s inaugural three-day party in Thailand, held from April 13-15 at Legend Siam in Pattaya, marks the festival’s expansion into Asia for the first time. Really? I wouldn't. Travis Scott still has to answer for his role in the Astroworld mass casualty event.

 

Nov. 5, 2021, an overflow crowd of 50,000 people attended  Houston event run by rapper Travis Scott. Fences were overrun, security was overwhelmed.  10 kids were asphyxiated as they were crushed to death in crowd, 25 hospitalized and 300 treated for injuries at the site.  Travis Scott and concert promotor Live Nation face multiple lawsuits.  Making the situation worse was the fact that Scott had continued to perform despite the carnage that was unfolding and the reported pleas to stop the show. IMO He didn't respond well to the tragedy.

Knowing how security is at Thai mass events and the ease at which crowds push and panic in Thailand, are you still comfortable bringing your family to such an event?
