The Justice Ministry revealed it is preparing for the new law which is set to take effect on January 23. The policy is aimed at preventing people convicted of sexual and violent crimes from reoffending. Nothing could be further from the truth and Medical Castration is perhaps a softer tone. As well as using it for sex offenders, the same process is used to treat certain cancers such as prostate cancer. Furthermore, it is reversible. Transsexuals use the same drugs like Androcur, to stop the effects of testosterone, for their own reasons.
