Transit to Chiang Mai with E-VOA

Hi All, 

I have e-VOA. I have a connecting flight from Suvaranbhum to Chiang Mai. My luggage will be checked through to my final destination.

Do i need to first complete immigration process at Suvaranbhum and re-enter domestic departure OR can i go directly to transit lane ?

I've only transited once through Suvarabhumi, but from memory I completed the Immigration process before going to domestic departures.

If your luggage is checked through then you should have no need to clear immigration at Suvaranbhumi, but for peace of mind query it with the airline.
