Bangkok police have arrested 15 suspected scammers involved in a barrage of illegal businesses, seizing assets worth more than over 42 million baht (US$1.1 million) Thursday. The arrests follow a series of disturbing incidents, including a raid on a nightclub disguised as a car wash in Yannawa district, and the death of a tourist after a night out at a venue run by Chinese businessmen in Ratchada district. Chinese again. My wife told me the other day they busted lots of Chinese in Chiang Mai who got real thai ids’s illegally. I want to say the git 60 or so Chinese but can’t confirm it.
