What a couple of absolute vindictive self entitled a'holes. Somkuan and his wife Lakhana doing nothing but admiring the vehicle while riding along posing no threat, and after stopping asked the driver if he needed any help, as is the Thai way. For this he is beaten to near death by the both of them. A 46 year old man. I hope that they are ashamed of themselves and their disgusting actions where they are guests. Please lock these things up and strip them of as much finances as can be legally obtained and sell the vehicle giving the proceeds of all to Somkuan and Lakhana. I am so sorry that this happened to you Somkuan and I hope for a speedy recovery for you. Chok dee na kap. :classic_love:

The Porsche was seized by police.

Of course it was. And the multimillion baht vehicle will be returned after a handling &  storage fee is paid. This is called extortion.

It is ok. Being a foreigner in Thailand the French men can get special pardon and will be escorted back to their country safely once they have apologized and pay the right negotiated $$$$. For sure they will not be punished in Thailand

The article says “The Frenchmen will be prosecuted according to the law”. Oh ok. That’s how it works does it. I think they will be prosecuted according to how much they can pay. Ask Boss!

its a little strange to follow the car because its beautiful and then over take it

but if it is true lock them up for a long time

Target customers for this kind of car are mainly people who are in plastic surgery for a dick extention

which matches their behaviour at 100 % I guess

It’s unclear from the video whether the topless Frenchman also attacked Somkuan

They can always charge him for driving a vehicle topless.

How did the Porsch get in a 90 degree angle to the road, but backwards, as a "parking" in the middle of the road?

That story does not ad up, but getting someone in the hospital needs to be punished

One-sided storytelling at it's best. The wife has completely made up her version of the story, and it's clear in the video that the Thai man was looking for a fight and attacked the French man several times before losing the fight. That the Thai guy lost a 1-on-1 fight he most likely started doesn't make it assault. You can see in the video a bystander tries to pull him away while Frenchie is down, but he refuses and continues to fight, and after the first time he's knocked down the French guy tries to walk away but he comes attacking him again.

Both sides should be charged for the violence, but definitely not as a one-sided assault as the wife made up. It's pretty sad, but not surprising, that media is taking her story 100% without even checking for the facts.

What savage beasts.... Cant wait to hear their reason for such vicious behavior. no excuse for extreme violence against the unarmed. I say jail & let the thai convicts mete out justice.

Can’t imagine those two make it out of a thai jail in one piece

I agree. It’s utterly disgraceful what they will be subjected to. They are guilty before even making it to court.

Alcohol and/or drugs. Add to that the factor they are arrogant - I won't bring their nationality into question here. Too bad about the car now being proceeds of crime...

Totally agree with ShibaBud on their fortunes in jail with a bunch of thais 🤣

Sounds like you are siding with them. By the look of the video, the Thai was just used as a Muai Thai kicking bag for fun.

From your missive, you must have been there, seen the whole thing and captured it on video to be submitted for evidence against the aggressive, ill-tempered, initiating Thai. You talk about one-sided storytelling, but that is all I am getting from you. Heaps of people on the street and they will tell it like it is.

Do you have all the facts then on order to condemn these guys so easily? Remember the report was that he fell and hit his head. They didn’t beat him senseless. I’d be very careful about jumping to conclusions about justice in this so called Land of Smiles.

If they are guilty then they should be punished under the law. That doesn’t mean they should be assaulted themselves in a Thai Jail.

That will be sorted out with a hefty little 'fine', I am sure...

Did you see the whole thing? Do you know what led to the situation. Why would two Thais follow a car on a motorbike. The whole story needs to come out before people judge. Remember, innocent until proven guilty. I’m defending no one.

Yes, he did fall and hit his head - straight after receiving a roundhouse kick to the head, as very visible in the video. Don't tell me you are getting sensitive about farang being charged for crimes they commit, are you?

Why would I be sensitive about criminals getting the justice they deserve. Why have you decided to bring in nationality? Are you suggesting the Thai justice system is biased against non-Thais?

Im just amazed that so many armchair judges, who have seen and heard one version of events, can make such rapid conclusions. They may well be a pair of complete tossers who need throwing in jail for a year. That doesn’t mean that in jail they should then be subjected to beatings just because they are foreigners. Don’t tell me you condone such racist actions?
