A Bangkok sales assistant has been fired after he fainted on the job, and his colleague sent a photo of him unconscious to his boss, Thai media reported this week. If an employee had medical conditions then it should be properly declared during the interview and duly analyzed and documented. Hiding health related issues from employer itself is a punishable as per employment act.

im not sure insomnia is a health condition, recent research shows bad sleep is a common problem across all of society.  Sounds like he just needed dinner really. Besides you think he'd get the job if he admitted that .... no one in any country admits a health problem at an interview

Sorry, but if you've a medical condition which prevents you from performing the duties of your job, then you shouldn’t be working there.  And….Three strikes before any punitive action is Bull-poop.
