I come to think of Toxoplasmosis, a bug that's able to control the mind of those infected. For some people, Money seems to work in the same way, it completely shuts of all common sense. Romance scams, ponzi schemes, invest millions in a You- tuber, job offers with unrealistic salaries etc.

Even though a gardener could make 90,000-100,000 baht (10,000 AED) a month in the UAE, there are innumerable reports over the last 20 years that most SE Asian women there won't be working as........gardeners.

Most gardeners will be making peanuts though. 10k+ baht a month. And all from the Indian Subcontinent. 

Feel sorry for the women concerned, but do some research!!

I hate to say it .. .ive been to some middle eastern countries and once I bought a chess board and had to play the seller to buy it.

Bargaining is an integral part of their culture so paying 90,000 for gardening doesnt make sense to anyone that knows them

Additionally their views on womens and human rights in general should make the Thai authorities that many of their women are in the same situation. (of course this depends on our western views of human and womens rights)
