Corruption is simply systemic in the Thai system as it is now in the American government as well. Government, and especially high office,  attracts bad people for the most part. It’s really the fault of the governed for tolerating their nonsense. You get the government you deserve. Maybe the people should actually think about having standards and holding these leeches accountable.

Corruption in Thailand!.........................................Surely not.

WHEN are the small people going to kick back against all these corrupt officials, surely they must be getting fed up with being fleeced! I guess a bit of REAL democracy in Thailand might be a start.
