Results are pending for the test of what could be the fifth person in Thailand to be confirmed with monkeypox, another German man, this time on Koh Chang island. They should track his moves and identify all the people he had sexual relations with. He most likely will have infected multiple people.

Chain him to his hospital bed until diagnosed and then transfer him to solitary confinement in prison for ongoing treatment. Once he is fully recovered he must be tried, found guilty, seriously fined and deported at his own cost with a lifetime ban on entering Thailand. Dirty Farangs like him are not wanted here.

I'm sure all foreigners are deported at their own cost aren't they?
I've read about people held in the IDC for a long time until they can find someone to pay for their repatriation.

Treat infected people like prisoners and no-one will go to get checked.

They pay about 4,000 baht for transport to the airport and also for their own ticket. Only certain airlines will accept deportees as the cabin crew must hold the persons passport and not allow them off the plane until arriving at the destination.
