After growing pressure online from students, Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Law has agreed to do away with mandatory student uniforms. Great news! Now the students are finally able to compete regarding whos able to afford the most expensive prestige brand clothes.

No, only the Faculty of Law has passed a resolution to allow students to wear their own clothes, not the entire university.

Accuracy in headline writing is key.

Tradition. Largely has much to do with the rather illogical [and repressive] honouring of the particular patronage and militarism associations. All a bit of a paradox in a Buddhist culture.

If you have kids in University in Thailand, they do that plenty after school..........
