dimitri Posted July 12, 2022 #230147 Share Posted July 12, 2022 The new concessionaire has not clearly stated exactly how much gas from Erawan will be produced for Thailand in future So the problem is not the high price of LNG. The problem is that cheap gas found in Thailand is going "somewhere else". China? Who's responsible for that ? Who's making money here at the expense of Thai citizens?
anarchofarmer Posted July 12, 2022 #230153 Share Posted July 12, 2022 I seem to remember a few years ago that they were changing some of the power stations to burning rice hull instead of coal (my local dealer certainly jacked the price of rice hull!). Has Thailand since stopped growing rice or was that just another flopped government cunning plan??

Thaidup Posted July 12, 2022 #230254 Share Posted July 12, 2022 This "green new deal" crap is causing this, One may think that the WEF wants all countries to go solar and wind power at the cost of poor people having to go back to burning wood to cook and heat? https://www.weforum.org/communities/gfc-on-energy-transition
