I will say it once again, there are no Zebra or other types of pedestrian crossings in Thailand.  They may have the markings and even the lights but they do not work in the minds of the drivers here. Avoid them.

Anyone crossing a soi/crosswalk takes their life in their own hands.

In Thailand pedestrians do not have the right of way it appears.

Pedestrian crossings should be abolished or policed, they give pedestrians a false sense of security.

I once stopped at one on my motorbike in Pattaya to let someone cross and my wife shouted at me, "are you trying to us killed" or words of that description, there were vehicles just going around us, never again.🛵😱
