So , I plan to travel mid August and return early Sept, I had 2 x Pfizer in August 2021 .

According to the OP I am good to go despite my last vaccination being over a year ago .

Or will I have an issue in returning with the above vaccination status ?

Anyone ??

You're not required to be vaxxed to enter the LOS. Ignore the intentional framing of this article that would lead the less attentive reader to believe otherwise. Masks are also not required.

But you will need a negative test to enter (if unvaccinated). That's the long and short of it.

You are only fully vaccinated at 2 doses if the 2nd dose is no less than 4 months old.  Even with the most effective vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna), a booster is required at 4-6 months after the 2nd dose. In the vaccinating countries, if one is aged 60 and older, 4 doses are recommended and if immune dysfunctional, 5 doses.  The Thai government does a disservice when it refers to 2 doses are fully vaccinated.

That’s the reason for my question, I thought going by the title of the op it would be answered.

Does my 2 doses, 1 year since last dose , make me vaccinated or unvaccinated ?

So if the Thai Government is referring to 2 doses as being fully vaccinated then i am fully vaccinated ( only in the eyes of the Thai government ) even though will be more than 1 year since my last vaccination ?

Since this list covers all the major world vaccines if you’ve had your original double dose at the correct intervals then you’re fully vaccinated. What DOESN’T appear in these regulations is any mention of a time limit so your last vaccination could have been 15 months ago and, according to the Thai government at least, you’re still fully vaccinated. To what extent your original vaccinations are protecting you is a moot point but  probably not much. Even if you’ve never been vaccinated a quick ATK test is sufficient providing it proves negative.

If you can prove it, then yes. Your fully vaccinated. As I understand it.

Aug 2021 CoronaVac

Sep 21 Astra Zenica

Jan 22 Pfizer

April 22 Omicron Covid (no proof)

So I do not have 2 of anything.

Whats my best way to avoid not getting back in?

Local clinic offering Moderna every Tuesday so I could go for the full set of 4 different ones!

The definition of fully vaccinated is being changed  or will be changed in much of the world to reflect the fact that the vaccine requires booster doses. The use of the term  fully vaccinated  encourages a false sense of security, and will cause more harm than good because  the public will not understand that the vaccine will need the booster. It is recommended that a booster be  taken  within the 3-6 month period after the 2nd dose. Some countries are not mentioning the booster because they are  gambling that  2 doses is enough to keep most people out of hospital.

If you did indeed have an infection, the recommended practice is to wait 3 months. I suggest you then take a 2nd full dose of pfizer  and then the booster 3-6 months later. By the time of the booster, the updated vaccines for the new variants will be available.
