News Forum - Phuket police help Russian woman get her pricey diamond earrings back
This is a nice story and goes to show most people are honest. However, is it just me that feels sick to the stomach when I see such articles. Russians should not be allowed to relax on Thai beaches given what their government are doing in Ukraine. I know it’s governments who are evil and not people. But this is so wrong on so many levels. If my government had invaded a peaceful, democratic country and was targeting civilians, I would be ashamed to show my passport. -

News Forum - Thailand rejects Thai princess Pfizer reaction claim as fake
Yes it would. After all it is a court of law where evidence is presented. Society needs to hit back at these charlatans spreading fake news and lies on social media. Look at Alex Jones. Someone finally had enough of his nonsense and dragged him into court where he fell apart like a paper tiger in a rainstorm.- 1

News Forum - Thailand rejects Thai princess Pfizer reaction claim as fake
They don’t need to prove it’s not true. He needs to prove what he said is true. Too much of this nonsense around whereby people can make unsubstantiated claims. Spread it like wildfire on social media and the next thing is people are losing their life hundreds or thousands of miles away by listening to these people. I don’t know if these vaccines are ultimate safe. I know that no vaccine will ever be 100% safe, but I also know that for the majority, the vaccine risk outweighed the earlier impacts of Covid. I also have faith that the trial data was verified by many people unattached to where the money men were. Pfizer is a commercial company and its ultimate aim is to make money. That’s not evil.- 1

News Forum - Pattaya records yet another unwanted suicide statistic
I tend to agree. I guess the only caveat being the type of cancer and the outlook or chances of survival. I certainly wouldn’t put myself through months of therapy in order to have another year of life. However, early detection and treatment of some cancers are survivable or at least result in a further 5 years of life. In terms of returning to the U.K. for me is a more straightforward choice. I’m not in a relationship in Thailand and have no plans to do so. I have kids who live in England and Holland along with a larger group of friends and family. I’m also unsure what palliative care you could get or reasonably afford in Thailand. I wouldn’t wish to die in agony in some cheap government hospital in Thailand. I’ve seen it happen to one guy and it wasn’t easy to see! The other caveat is that I guess none of us know exactly how we would respond until it happens.- 1
